Noma Projects Flavor Shop

In Copenhagen's Refshaleøen neighbourhood, a simple greenhouse, previously the threshold guests crossed before entering Noma, has been transformed by OEO Studio into Noma Projects Flavor Shop.

The project presented a very contemporary challenge: how to translate flavour itself, and the laboratory mentality of one of the world's most experimental kitchens, into physical form?

The result is a study in contrasts, both material and conceptual. The Noma Projects Flavor Shop is designed as a place of wonder featuring an intriguing mix of contrasting matrials that come together to form a palette of colour, tactility and texture.

From the solid granite centerpiece coffee station to the extra-long display table adorned with bespoke glass jars - crafted at the renowned Danish workshop Holmegaard - every element is brought to life through an abundance of greenery and vibrant details that embody innovation.
